Purpose of This Site

Why do we believe in Free Speech

The United States Constitution, which by the way, is 2,000 years old and based on Jewish Scriptures, is the very first item on the Constitution. It is included in the Constitution because our founding fathers knew it was important for a free republic to be truly free and people could say what they want--especially when it came to the government. This is what has made the United States the greatest country in the world. It has been the only place in the world people can speak their mind. Here is How the Constitution reads with respect to the First Amendment:

Amendment 1

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the rightof the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

What Amendment 1 means:

The 1st Amendmentprotects the people's right to practice religion, to speak freely, to assemble (meet), to address (petition) the government, and of the press to publish.
